How we handle your data

What we collect and why

Quote enquiries. When you send the quote form we receive the details you type: your name, email or phone number, your dates, pick-up point, car type, driver age and any note you add. We use them to reply with your price and to arrange the hire if you go ahead. They are stored in our booking system and are not shared with anyone else or used for marketing lists.

Calls, WhatsApp and email. If you contact us directly we keep the correspondence so we can handle your booking. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and analytics

Analytics never run until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand which pages help visitors, and we may use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used in aggregate. If you decline, no analytics load at all, and the site works exactly the same.

You can change your mind any time: use the Cookie preferences link, also found at the bottom of every page.

What we never collect here

The website takes no payment and stores no card details. An enquiry is not a booking: a member of the family replies personally, and payment happens at the desk when you collect the car.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@princesscarhire.com and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
